A local gem at North Chicago. Such large and diverse menu! Very authentic Chinese and Sichuan dishes and large potions! Our family always stopped by here for dinner each time we visited Chicago. This time we had mustard green, mapo tofu (best mapo ever), seafood spicy hotpot and chicken sizzling rice soup. Update: A year later still awesome! Added a new picture.

It been a while since last time I have visited, whole different team and I am glad that they finally got someone who can smile while servicing. The kitchen now put different thought on the dish that I always recommended, salt and pepper shrimp! The way they deal with shrimps makes the texture and presentation of this dish completely different from other Chinese restaurants. As a person who only care about foods, I am looking forward to find more surprises right here.

Highly recommended, the food there is very delicious! If you like Chinese food, I like spicy Sichuan style! There are also non-spicy ones, usually from 5 to 6 pm! Their store is super busy! I am a slower paced person, so I like to eat in the restaurant between 2-4 pm, and have an early dinner, so that I can enjoy my meal! The portion size there is also relatively large! If you can't finish it, you can take it home to eat! The waitresses there are beautiful and nice! It makes me feel very comfortable and the environment is beautiful! I hope my sharing will bring a better dining experience to you who see the comments! Love and peace

House special no tofu, such a weird name that catch my attention. I’m glad that I found another great tofu dishes to replace the one I use to have at Szechuan JMC. A lot of people might not like or don’t like about tofu, but if you cook it at the right way, slow stew it with bunch of flavorful ingredients, it can turn you into a “ rice killer”. The pork intense I order is over fried and became too dry, luckily we have this yummy tofu sauce to dip it in, saved my lunch to a happy ending. Will come back to explore the menu.

This is now our go to Chinese restaurant. The food is authentic and very good, especially if you like it spicy. The dry chili chicken is excellent. Also, I've been searching for this soup that I used to get when I spent some time in Beijing, and I finally found it here. The beef in the Beef Noodle Soup Szechwan Style is a bit fatty for my personal taste, but that soup base is amazing. I love it. I'm looking forward to getting a Hot and Spicy pot the next time I dine there, everything we have had so far was excellent.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the suburbs. The food is amazing, we have tried many dishes and they are always absolutely delicious. We come here when I'm craving hot pot and/or Szechwan greenbeans. But the soups, noodles, dumplings, fried rice, and scallion pancakes are incredible, too. This place is our favorite place for birthdays and other celebrations.

Delicately cooked with fresh fish and perfectly seasoned broth, each bite is packed with rich, savory flavors that are both comforting and bold. If you’re looking for a standout dish, these noodles are a game-changer!
